FAQs

What's the booking process?

Once we're in contact and have discussed what you would like with a quote, a contract is sent along with an invoice for the deposit.
Following this, we stay in contact until the day, and the remaining fee is payable from six weeks prior.

Can you do arrangements?

Yes, absolutely! If you don't see a song or piece of music that you would like to hear, please do let me know and I'll work out an arrangement! I just ask that you give me as much notice as possible.

How do you move the harp?

Getting to the venue, I will drive. There's usually parking at or near the venue. If there's no lift or accessible entrance, I can navigate most staircases, but please do let me know if the venue has a particularly narrow or spiral staircase. I can move rooms within one venue, but if you are moving venues during the event, do mention this in your initial enquiry.

Can you take last minute bookings?

Yes! If you're looking for a last-minute harpist, do get in contact ASAP!

Can you match the colour scheme?

Yes! If you would like me to match your colour scheme, I will do my best to fit in.

How much room do you need?

The harp is about 2 metres tall, 1 metre wide and 1 metre long. I will need approximately 2.5m² in which to perform.

Do you use amplification?

I can do, the harp is an acoustic instrument, so I don't normally need to, but for large-scale events, I have a portable, battery-powered amplification system.

Can you play with other musicians?

Yes, I work with other musicians regularly and already have multiple ensembles, so if you have a dream combination, do let me know in the enquiry!

Can you play outside?

Yes, but I do ask that as the harp is wood and can be easily damaged by intense sun or rain, there is some cover and/or a quick way to get inside!
